Lauren’s work is a form of healing and communication - largely fueled by her experiences with pain, intimacy, and personal growth. Through abstraction, she examines the relationships between the mind + body and ourselves + others - inviting viewers to dig deeper into their own physical & emotional experiences.
Lauren explores themes of identity, gender, anxiety, sexuality, mindfulness and psychology. She utilizes bold, energetic forms to contrast with her frequent expressions of melancholia.
